[SR] Seminary Now

Welcome to [SR] Seminary Now

[SR] Seminary Now exists to provide practical and affordable theological education for lay leaders within the context of the local church. Born out of our deep desire and commitment to equip and empower the body of Christ, each course is focused on developing Christian leaders for lay or vocational ministry in the 21st century.

How does the program work?

There are 3 different tracks for this program:

1) Bible Track
2) Theology Track
3) Leadership Track

The foundation for each course will consist of video lessons provided by Seminary Now, a streaming platform that offers seminary-level courses taught by leading scholars on some of today’s most relevant topics. In addition, [SR] Pastors will provide additional instruction, lead class discussions, and offer feedback on all class assignments.

A list of courses have been curated in an effort to most closely reflect the theology of Shelter Rock Church and provide a strong Biblical and practical foundation for ministry.

Students who complete 6 classes within each track will receive a certificate from [SR] Seminary Now.

Who should apply?

Anyone can apply, but we especially encourage applicants who are already serving in some form of ministry, as a lay volunteer, ministry worker, worship leader, or church staffer, and are eager to invest in their theological and spiritual formation.

Cost

Each course is $50 and includes video and in-person instruction. Supplemental materials may be required depending on the course. College and High School Students can take the course for a reduced price of $25.
